Borja is an emerging filmmaker, with an attitude and passion for telling stories that challenge audiences to reinterpret their reality. Borja encountered this unique family while looking to expand his experience in psychedelics in a soul searching trip to Peru and soon became part of the family, which allowed him to approach the story with such great intimcity. Created against all odds, La Sagrada Familia is Borja’s first feature documentary and has already been recognised and supported by Eurodoc, SDI, Creative Scotland, Screen Scotland and the British Film Institute/Doc Society.
COLIN MONIE
EDITOR
Oscar nominated and Bafta-winner Colin Monie, is the editor and one of Scotland’s most experienced editors in fiction and documentary. His feature work includes the BAFTA-winning The Unloved, directed by Samantha Morton; Peter Mullen's award-winning The Magdalene Sisters; Deepa Mehta's Oscar-nominated Water, and most recently her adaptation of Salman Rushdie's eponymous novel Midnight's Children. Amongst his documentary credits is the critically acclaimed Jig by Sue Bourne.
JUANA MOLINA
SOUNDTRACK /MUSIC
Popular underground South American artist Juana Molina will compose the film’s original experimental soundtrack. Her song “Tres Cosas” was placed in the “Top Ten Records of 2004” by The New York Times, and her music featuring elements of folk, ambient and electronica, is highly unique and personal. This soundtrack will be the first one in Molina’s successful career and with totally new material and versions of last materials never released.

Nicolas is our director of photography based in Peru, His work has participated in festivals such as HotDocs, IDFA, Ars Electronica, among others and has been distributed by media platforms such as Netflix, The Guardian and Arte TV. Nicolas knows Peru extensively thanks to his work.
ADAM DAWTREY
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Adam is one of Scotland’s leading producers of creative documentaries. His credits include A Story of Children & Film (2013), Antonia Bird: From EastEnders to Hollywood (2016), Stockholm My Love (2016), The Eyes of Orson Welles (2018) and Iorram (2021).
JAVI LOPEZ
SOUND
Javi is our sound recordist, is from Spain but based in Scotland. His work in documentary and fiction has reached broadcaster in UK and Europe and has been distributed by media platforms such as Amazon, Nat Geo and Discovery among others.
